we …
are trespassers …
can you feel them?
the blooms, electric?
our world is pregnant with other worlds -
transient planes of existence that are
provisory to entirely disparate
rules and ids and forces …
why do we even question such?
particles and waves of
many kinds are
continually passing through us
yet we doubt even the
most minimally miraculous happenings
simply because they may not
alight upon our retina
or tickle the tympans of our ears
or stimulate our neurons …
consider for a moment how extraordinarily
vain and shortsighted it is to
think that our actuality must be the
sole vessel of our energy -
we are such incredible marvels!
the most wondrous of wonders and
worlds is the delicate, intricate
intensely complex bundle of systems and
processes that keep us alive - that
compose the human body -
yet we question the ephemeral potential
of this unimaginably vast Universe
and the prospects of those
universes that may exist elsewhere
or may lie right where we ARE
but in different spheres -
different stratum that
are governed by physics not
based on matter or ordered by TIME …
can you perceive it about us?
can you sense the
awe and fascination that we
drown in amidst our ignorance of
‘otherwheres’ and without?
silence is NEVER silent -
there is always a voltaic wash of … something …
darkness is NEVER dark -
it is filled with a
million points of electric color!
(close your eyes tightly … do you see it?)
LOVE does not come from
an organ or system or bodily process
yet there are few things that we
FEEL as deeply!
but why?? HOW?!?
what composes those kinetic
forces and energies?
where do they originate?
they are real and tangible, yet we
have no way to measure them -
no quantum method of
calibrating their affect upon us …
so what IS that world that
holds their mysteries and scope?
what other substances or
laws do we ripple
every time we move through
this invisible sea of gases and particles?
what magical realm holds those answers?
is that where we are headed when we
leave our own corporeal selves?
how can we doubt that
our loved ones may be with us right now
when we know far less about
this dream of ours
than we do the innumerable
amount of things we
still have to learn?
we are such treasures -
every ONE of us -
and we are on a fantastic journey
that THIS life may be only
the beginning of!
next time you take a breath
cogitate on all the
amazing processes taking place in
that invisible moment
and think of all the unimaginable
phenomenons that MAY be transpiring …
pause for one brief slice of
life and DREAM …
dream of what is and MAY
be saturating our existential activities -
the marvelous, indescribable
hopeful, extraordinarily limitless
possibilities of the
unknown and unseen …
and WONDER!
