Woman Wrapper
You are always staying home
My neighbour muttered
Yes, I always do, I answered.
You are a woman wrapper, he replied.
I like to retire to the comforts of my home
after work,
If so, so be it
I am a woman wrapper
I prefer the company of my wife, than clubbing
and drinking
If so then, so be it.
I am a woman wrapper
I prefer to watch cartoons and help the kids with
their homework and other stuffs.
If so then l am labelled as a woman wrapper.
I am a woman's wrapper, I don't mind
As long as it endears me to our children
I am a woman's wrapper, I Don care
As long as my marital vows are kept.
I am a woman's wrapper as long as
my wife loves me and I love her.
Indeed and in words;
I am a woman's wrapper.
