Wizard - Slipping Away

>center>Sadly I sensed his heart slipping away. Head on my pillow, I dwelled in a dreamscape of denial, muffling all thoughts of losing him until I woke in my bed alone. Draping across my shoulders the old sweater he’d left behind, his scent provided comfort. But then I paused and realized I was still at the edge of denial.
*Words used for Andrea and Susan’s contest: slipping, pillow, dwelled, denial, muffling, woke, draping, paused, edge

Well done my gifted friend! Ir's bound to do well in the contest. I found this contest inspiring somehow and seemed to get the creative juices flowing. Put a trickle of muse back in my dry spell. I wrote one for it but missed the deadline. That's okay it was a lot of fun and will enjoy reading everyone's entrees. Nicely done miss Carolyn. Merry Christmas and God bless you a bunch!
