With This Ring
She stood looking,
at the dress on her bed,
in an hour from now,
her vows will be said.
The guest are arriving,
the church is filling up,
how in the world,
can one love another so much.
All her life,
she had dreams of this day,
the family album has pictures,
when she dressed up to play.
Now this is for real,
her day is here,
as she looks at her ring,
and gently dries her tears.
