With the Faith of a Child

*** With the Faith of a Child ***

The simple prayer lays them down 
 In the peace of God to sleep,
Assured every needing one and
Every heart their young souls
Have asked be blessed, is so.
Saying then, “Amen,” with 
A complete belief it
WILL be done!

A child’s faith knows that God hears.
Without a doubt.  They know doors
Open with learning ways of walking
Through, and God will watch
Over all, alive to meeting
Their needs, or answering
Their calls, and always
Be there to hold their
Loneliness in his 
Own created Love.

The way to God, as Jesus told, is
Modeled by a child’s faith, in
Knowing their crying out is
Always answered; that help
Has been there for their
Standing, their going
Forth, and their
Finding what is
Sought.

Valsa George February 21, 2022 at 12:46 AM With child like faith and openness if we ask something from God, He will hear ! Children are proverbial for their innocence and total dependence. When we pray we should feel that we are so helpless without His power ! Very meaningful write Sally !
