With my beloved, I can be my true self
And I know my love won’t sit on a shelf
I experience being unconditionally loved
I can be my true self with my beloved

I’m so very thankful that God blessed me
With a kind, gentle man with whom I agree
Because of his love, I can feel so tranquil
That God blessed me, I’m so very thankful
~
In his gentle embrace, I know true happiness
Due to his kindness, there is assured manliness
His love is a magnificent prize which I can showcase
I know true happiness in his gentle embrace
~
With my beloved, I am filled with contentment
Thanks to him I know nothing of resentment
Together our hearts are fitting as if being gloved
I am filled with contentment with my beloved
