With Fronds Like These
Listen to poem:
With fronds like these swirling up so grand.
Who needs anemones on the sand?
With their swaying grace and verdant hue,
frilly fronds bring happiness to you!
With eyes and ears on watch on piers to leer
and hear, who needs peers to teach me to clear
the harbor in my pea green boat and steer
right out of here, with money for a beer.
No need to linger any longer and tarry.
For the dilly dally when Sally met Harry,
did not carry over, as they did not marry,
but stayed best of friends, just as happy as Larry.
