With Age Came Experience, Knowledge,
With Age
Came Experience, Knowledge,
And Pain
6-7-2016
I’ve prided myself on my high tolerance for pain,
And at stages of life it’s became more abundant.
While I ponder the old saying “no pain no gain”,
It seems each year it’s became more redundant;
Some days “to man up” just seems quite insane,
Because this nettlesome pain I’d immensely eschew.
My accomplishments today I consider mundane,
Inducing me to ascertain what’s an old man to do?
