Wispering Winds
Whispers in the wind calling out to me again...
Leave behind your baggage. Shed your tattered skin.
No more standing at the crossroads. Time for your new journey to begin.
The friends who have become kin in your heart shall they stay.
Say your goodbyes. Then turn and walk away.
Time to write a new chapter. Time to stand on your own.
Hear me out Dear One. You now are grown.
No longer are you captive. The caged bird has been set free.
Fear not the edge of reality. Trust your once broken wings.
New places to see. People you must meet.
Forgive those transgressions against you. Shake the dust from your feet.
Your lamp is eternal. Your home lies ahead.
Soar like an eagle. No fear. No dread.
Cry not over the past woes of life.
Karmic debt collected. Payed for with strife.
