Wish

Quote By Poet: "Make a wish. Will it come true. Only time will tell."

Today is my birthday,
they said make a wish and blow out your candles.
I did,
but my wish never came true.
On a star filled night they said,
take a star and make a wish.
I did,
how long do I need to wait for it to come true.
My trust I put in you,
I did what I was told to do.
Is making a wish,
a waste of time.
All I can say,
is boohoo.
