Wisdom's Trail Vi

Among, The towering mountains Of menacing fanaticism And In the midst of the shadows Of Constant fear Agonizing humanity, Desperately, Is crawling in search of The Trail of understanding, Praying: That it would lead her Onto The valley of God-loving peace Where The people of the world, Respecting the beliefs of others, In harmony, would live, Glorifying God’s wisdom that has saved them From falling Into The ravines of voracious hate Where Man's annihilation Impatiently awaits! © Demetrios Trifiatis 10 JANUARY 2015

My friend, look the world over and only one group is dealing destruction around the globe to any that refuse to yield to its barbarism and insane demands. No amount of appeasement will satisfy this beast. Remember in war, in conflict the aggressor sets the rules . The rules they set are murder (chopping off heads) and demand ALL humans yield to them.. I will never yield!!!!

Human beings have such power; we can make a heaven of hell or a hell of heaven and too many choose to make a hell. You have spoken the truth, my friend.

As Tim says, "We need more compassion for our fellow man..." We have ALL been created equal! Why can't man act civilized instead of like animals? Great words my dearest friend!!

As Tim says, as you say and as I say but we need hundreds and thousands and millions to repeat what we say. We can do it if we venture out of the limited: Me, here and now! Thank you for taking the time dear, Jack, to visit and comment! I appreciate it.

If only....there were some bombings in Tyre today. There is unrest in Lebanon as well, my dear poet. It is not only in France where fanaticism is felt. We live with it daily...May your words inspire us all to understand we are from one family...the family of God. Blessings, my dear sweet poet.

Living in Canada we have a multitude of different cultures and religions living side by side. I do believe harmony is possible. Myself I am married to a Chinese woman our son is engaged to an East Indian girl. The best part is we have some amazing family dinners.
