Wipe Away My Tears

Why did you leave me that fateful day?
I cannot hold back my tears
Will you ever come in my way?
Take me with you my dear

Why in this ocean of life so vast
Our love boats crossed each other
When the rest happened by chance in past
I chose only you, could love none other

Why do you haunt me in my dreams?
My heart still aches for you
Don’t you miss me my love, oh brightest star
I care for no one but you

How strange I feel when I see the sky above
We were bound by narrow threads of love
When you did several things to win over my love
I kissed you each time, kiss me forever my love

Should I embrace death for you my dear?
I can see you in my drops of tears
Why can’t you understand my rains of tears?
I will wait for you ever to wipe away my tears

Can’t you understand the pain for my love?
I am standing in the rain with my eyes in tears
Can’t you come back like a lightning, O’ my LOVE?
Take me in your arms and wipe away my fears

Yes, a very longing poem full of your emotion, Suresh. ONe small suggestion to you. I noticed that all your poetry you categorized as "light poetry" but light implies humorous or not too serious, and I think your poems are much deeper than that! Luv, andrea
