I do so like the Poinsettias. Did you know when the blooming season is over it is just a green plant. The top leaves turn red in blooming season but they do need light. I bought one for my dining table, brought it home , put it on the table and my cat took one look at it and peed on it. (sigh) A fine write my friend. God Bless and Merry Christmas, JB

Yours is a short poem that contains both lovely imagery and personification, Hiya. Poinsettias are very beautiful, especially at this time of year; we have a big one, but alas no snow to compliment it!! ~ Best regards // paul

Oh, what a delightfully ethereal sight, dear Hiya. Poinsettias exude such exquisite beauty, akin to precious rubies. However, one mustn't forget their treacherous nature, for they possess a venomous quality! Best of luck with the contest

Where she lacks in fragrance, she replaces in awesome elegance in the harsh settings, as noted, Hiya. Aloha, William

I learnt the name of this winter flower through your gorgeous haiku angelic star. I absolutely love everything about this haiku. Especially the opening line and ruby elegance. How you’ve set a wintry theme, where amidst the iced haze ponsiettas dreams waltz and come alive unfurling the deepest dreams in such ruby tinted elegance is beyond impressive and impeccable to read. Just stunning! Pleasure reading this gorgeous haiku. speaks and paints vivid imagery in few syllables, best wishes.nailed it
