A Winter's Serenade

The majestic moon abjured her light, beneath a clear and starless night; Between the heaves of her first winter storm, snow gently falls with alluring charm. Twilight glistens on the frosty swirling air peaceful silence spreading everywhere. Along the shimmering silver lake an alluring scene, a breath to take. Frosted pines stand tall and erect; the winter moon casts her full effect; But not to wake but slumber on, to dream of summer long since gone. Meek is her soft and gentle voice; lending to the poetry of her choice.
