Green trees in winter Are like water in deserts. The green oasis Provides hope for the spring and Homes for Gods’ other children.

Which is precisely why I planted my own ever green once upon a time, even though I have never been fond of the prickliness of them, they are great for some creatures in winter.

Can you believe I make my own holiday wreaths out of fresh clippings? Prickly, yes. Sticky, yes. Sappy, yes however, the house smells wonderful while I'm building my fresh wreath.

They sure look great amid all the other barren trees. Symbols hope as you say.

I wake up to the grey winter sky and then I see blue spruces, firs, holly trees, etc., they're wonderful.
