WINTER TREMBLES

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ winter's fist slams frozen earth. frozen thunder trembles through the bones of the oaks and pines. night cracks like thin ice.
powerful imagery ~ you might want to consider not repeating 'frozen'.
A very descriptive and powerful poem about winter hurricanes and tempest. With great metaphor layers and personalization you make the season speak with cracking effects.
Whoa!! Looks like a frozen scary place. I have heard of snow thunder or something like that. I would think that it would sound even louder and more terrifying. Thanks for sharing this one with us. I like it. Sara K
A powerful, descriptive passage that evokes the harshness of a winter storm through personification and sensory imagery that cracks the night and affects the trees.
