Winter - Traditional Cinquain

So cold
The kiss of death
That downs the autumn leaves
To burn in crimson flames beneath
Her ice

Elaine, I come once again to correct a typing error in my comments. Please read 'three of your remarkably beautiful poems' in place of 'two of your.....' I sincerely regret the error. Regards. -Mohammad

Congrats Elaine on two of your remarkably beautiful poems having won the First Round at the Poetry Soup. I wish you success in the finals. Thanks for your lavish praise of my poem The Winds of Change. God Bless you. I quote a Quatrain from my book 'Rubaiyat of Josh Malihabadi -A Drop and the Ocean': In dust the soul of jasmine sings/ Withe particles the sun's odor clings/ Although fragile but a drop of water/ The whole dimension of the ocean brings. -Mohammad
