Winter Sunshine

I sit by my window with coffee in hand

Surveying the beauty of this frosty morn.

A diamond-like sparkle covers the land.

Drab earth no longer looks forlorn.

In the winter's sunshine, it's beauty is reborn.

I like the scenery myself, as long as I see it from the inside where it is a lot warmer. Good way to describe everything.

The frost looks so beautiful, it's like viewing a diamond sparkled surface. Ooo I like that window >> James :)

When the landscape gets that frosty sparkle, it looks like a winter wonderland. How nice it must be to look out upon such beauty as you have your morning coffee, Francine! Terrific tanka, birthday mate. Love, Carolyn
