Notes About The Poem

Winter Sport Hlm

Cupid’s Winter sport his spanking new quiver’s full his aim’s a bit low Miss Mary’d be happy with dough but shot by a bum with a bow. She married a poor man, scrubs his dirt floor, because of one single arrow. If Cupid puts his quiver away, then who’s to blame for poor choices? 1/31/2022 Charlie Hai-Lim-Ku Poetry Contest Sponsor: Charles Messina

Just blame Trump...why not? He gets blamed by Lame-stream, state influenced, media for everything else:) Well said. Most of what happens to us, when it comes to matters of the heart, is due to personal choices. Even the best people though, are fooled once in awhile. Some soulless creeps are really deceptive. They have the upper advantage in the sense that normal minds refuse to consider such evil even exists.

I know what you mean! I had to listen to grand jury cases for 3 months. The underbelly of wickedness!
