Winter Rhapsody

the snowflakes are falling like the words from my heart, part of the scenery they soon become; and I breathe snowflakes_ my world changes to a beautiful painting, and my rosy cheeks are snow kissed ~ I walk the forest paths meandering in thought, part of a painting that inspires; and I breathe snowflakes_ winter fills me with joy and love, and my rosy cheeks are snow kissed ~ I was born in a winter blizzard storm weeping, into my life snow is fallings always; and I breathe snowflakes_ cold winter into my poems I love to pen, and my rosy cheeks are snow kissed ~ "I am filled with love when the first snowflake falls ..." _________________________ February 21, 2022 (Inspired by an old poem) Poetry/Free Verse/winter rhapsody Copyright Protected, ID 02-1432-809-21 All Rights Reserved, 2022, Constance La France Submitted into Standard the contest, Winter Love sponsor, JCB Burl, Judged 02/26/2022 First Place

Very beautiful!~pure as freshly falling snow, the crisp, first loving slap of nature, beckoning one to taste in the cold the warmth of life and breath-full, higher calling. Lovely write!
