Barbara, theimagery here is terrific and the flow is smooth while the tone perfect. If I may suggest adding one word to the 1st line "An old branch" otherwise a lovely write and read. Michael

A woodfire, rain on the windowpain, classical music, hot soup, and the one you love...what more could a person ask for? A bit of heaven on earth! Beautiful poem in a form I haven't tried yet, but will be sure to now! ***edit: I tried one, and I like it! What a nice form of poetry! :)
