Winter Iv

In the winter I realize I became a cat moving from one cozy spot to the next. I stretch and lay. I watch the snowfall and play as it drifts in the chilly winds. The fire snaps, with a gentle blaze. Embers sturs. The tree lights are all aflame. I feel like a cat moving from one cozy spot to the next cozy spot, from one moment to the next. I hear the wind rushing the eves. The rustling of dead leaves. Memories. In winter I realize I become a cat. I move from one place to the next, one cozy spot to the next. From the bed to the couch, in front of the fireplace or in front of a window sill. I stretch and watch the day. Wax and wane. I watch the snowfall, play as it drifts in the icy winds. Wrapped in blankets and with hot coffee or cocoa, it all depends.
