Winter Blues

Of all the colors across the wheel And all the hues from which to deal There is one that stands more bright Makes me wish I were to break in flight I do miss most the color yellow Does make me feel so very mellow Reminds me of warm sunny days In so many marvellously peculiar ways AP: Honorable Mention 2020 Submitted on February 16, 2018

Thanks for your visit, SO. It was funny how yesterday it dawned on me how we are so deprived of the colour yellow in winter. I just perk right up when I see a winter coat that's ochre in colour.
