Winter

Cold spell
Wrap well.

Bare trees
No leaves.

Snow storms
Ice forms.

Blizzard
Hazard.

Cold toes 
I'm froze.

On snow 
Drive slow. 

Black ice
Think twice.

Don't roam
Stay home.

Mulled wine
Divine.

Downhill
Ski thrill.

Sky Grey
Dark day.

On sleigh
Kids play.

White snow
Bright glow.

Springs near
Big cheer.

Thank you Anne Lise, still a heatwave here, im not built for it .when I was on the cruise I was on top deck most of the time, the cold didn't bother me, Maybe I've got Viking blood lol Tom

Wow tom, the imagery that you've created here is absolutely creative! What fun footles! You've crafted them ever so brilliantly and set the atmosphere in such an intriguing manner. And I really love the joyful imagery of kids playing! It really took a shift from winter's icy coldness to a rhythm of sunshine that spring sings! Indeed beautiful! "Dont roam stay home" is a clever witty one and I absolutely love the rhymes throughout here: obviously this must have been an easy write for you as you are a natural with rhymes! I love the imagery and the descriptive nature of your wordplay! Its honestly so exquisite and so creative! I am sure will score high! I am not sure if mine wud be understood by many why it is titled sapphire ~ it is actually a stone of truth n transformation. Yours is concise easy to grasp and just brilliant dear Tom. Oh we do have ACs but sometimes we are not always indoors. Hah. I love Autumn too. And Iv heard of the heat wave there too. Gosh: do you have an AC at home?

We're in the middle of a heatwave in the UK so snow is a long way off (hopefully) I do like the winter but autumn is my favourite season, if I'm ever down your way I'd make sure the hotel had air-conditioning. I struggle in the heat. I'm more of an Artic man lol. Tom
