Winning

Kids do not understand how losing works perhaps they don't know what endeavor means. Some coaches play around with youngsters' minds by setting goals which cannot be achieved. While winning is important it is true does winning mean one never needs to lose? Such thinking sets a child at odds with life. The game of life consists of ups and downs. This is awesome poem dear friend Reason. Usually I give games or contest to my students in Math and some feel bad when they lose. I always emphasize the value of sportsmanship.
