Winnie and Rabbit

Winnie the Pooh
And his friends, Rabbit being among them too,
Know that honey is Pooh’s fixation and regular delight,
Eats too much, gets stuck in Rabbit’s front door, a true blight!

Rabbit
Is a fusspot and has an obsession to lead, in fact a habit,
He pushes hard to release our bear, an impossible chore,
Tells Pooh he eats too much honey, Pooh blames his tiny door!

I use to love reading... A.A. Milne, Winnie the Pooh, to my son when he was young. This was a very nice poem, I enjoyed it ~ Debra

Enjoyed reading this one. I remember a little about Winnie and Rabbit. I know too much could not have caused his weight problem though because one can't eat too much honey. LOL..Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

Adorable and charming, Jennifer. There was a movie about a man grown up who goes back to his childhood retreat, the land of Winnie the Poo. Wish i remembered its name but it was so nice, like your clerihew here.

Such a fun and clever write on two good friends, like the humor on the last line the best! Should do well in the contest, I'd think~
