Windy March
Windy March
March is meeting February
Like a feisty dog fights through a fence;
Barking back the cold of winter,
And spreading seeds for a flowering spring.
March barks at cold February,
Clinging to the bitsy buds on trees,
Albeit it blows in a cough or a sneeze,
Winter will wane indeed,
And windy March will win.
