Notes About The Poem

Winds of Change

Winds of Change

The winds of change are blowing in.
Revealing to all the ending to begin.
The trials of tribulations clearly seen.
Open your eyes to know what I mean.

Civil unrest, famine and rumors of war.
Are a few horrible things that are in store.
Where wrong is right and right is wrong.
It's a real upside down, inside out song.

Take a look on the news if you don't believe.
Most of the stories make you want to heave.
I find myself getting depressed and disgusted.
What has happened to the news we all trusted.

The winds of change are blowing, rushing in.
Changing all that we knew, all that has been.
Whether you believe it or not they’re here to stay.
And the world as we know it is passing away.

You are right on the money, sir! The winds of change are blowing hard -- though not necessarily from the blowhards in the street! They were already coming, in many cases. Thanks, Mitchell
