Wind-Water-And Why?

See the river serenely flowing, Having no idea where it's going. God moves it along as His desired pace; It reflects the Glory of His face' Watch the wind riffle through the trees; To know where it is just watch the leaves' God only knows if it blows hot or cold; the wind can only do what it is told' Look at the birds flitting about' The fly, flap, and soar, day in day out' Do they scheme and plan and store food in a bin? Or do they trust God to take care of them? Look at the sky which is so cloudy, Yet, I've never seen clouds act rowdy. They roll along, peacefully across the sky, Sometimes blocking the sun from you and I. Suddenly it occurs to me, These things function in perfect peace. They allow God to have total control, And each is just one part of the whole. To do what He tells me every day; To allow Him to have his way. To trust Him for my daily food; To walk before God in a way that's good; To be at ease and not always on guard. Why do I find these things hard? Arthur Ball (H.S.L.P.) April 16, 2003
