Willow Tree

High upon that willow tree That's where I wanna be We just go together like that Just you and me Way up in that willow tree I met you on that sunny day When the clouds were far far away I love it when you touch me that way How you run your fingers through my hair Love is so crazy good with you And I really want to keep it that way

Willow trees have a shape like falling hair. The tree and your hair have something in common in the verses in a funny way. It's as though someone gets into your head--in a very pleasant way.

Revisiting this one I liked so much in the past. I also just did a willow poem so that's why I was attracted again by this title when searching for an oldie of yours to read!

I really like this one. It is so sweet and yes, haiku are very hard to write, which is why you rarely see me doing one. haha. Don't worry. Very few people "get" haiku!!! I think it's a rare expert who can write one good enough to be in a journal of haiku.

Nicely rhymed and expressed! Simple words with a romantic message! Best wishes, Keith
