Willingly I'Ll Let You Guide Me
Beyond the swelling ache
the barrenness throbbing inside.
More than the tightness in my limbs
are the swirling over-wrought thoughts.
Beneath my exterior daily grind of leadership
a sensitive waits to surrender her pain .
My will is asserted each day.
in discipline, reason, compassion, and answers.
Each day I am the voice of reason and fiercest CEO
I lead with determined conviction.
Making each decision and weighing each option.
I organize the chaos and hold it at bay,
the result is the emptiness of my being
draining into their lives, my vessel dry.
The inner caverns of psyche have swirled together-split-
wisps of ghost whispering, murmuring
shuddering from over exertion
and here I wait.
For your command.
For you to lead, a harbor of your demand.
To take hold my reigns and trust.
Trust in the strength of your hands
the softness of your words and iron of your will.
I'll bend to your will.
Willingly I'll let you guide me, take over me, just don't loose me.
This, the giving over and change of my being,
this I need more than the trembling in my limbs.
