Will You Come To Meet My Friend

If you have taken that which does not belong to you, I know a friend who can help. If you have communicated with your neighbors wife as if she were your own, I know a place where you can go to find safety. If you are alone and need a listening ear, I know someone that will provide solace and comfort. If you need grace to simply take you through the day, and to cover those acts carried out, though never spoken of, I know a place where you can find refuge. I have been there too, I see the guilt in the eyes staring back from the other side of my mirror. I went to him long ago, though I need his grace daily, for those thoughts that simmer just below the surface of my mind. For those events which were carried out, but even more, for those which never were, but could have been. Do you need to go too? Are you willing to come with me to see my friend?
