Notes About The Poem

Will To Survive

Surviving amidst diagnosed ailment …along stressful burdensome involvement …around complex bonding entanglement …against trials and hardships’ bombardment… My will strives for triumphant fulfillment. Surviving despite self-imprisonment …defying vain critics for improvement …dealing with guilt upon truth’s indictment …detaching from social media’s infringement… My will remains grateful in peace-contentment. Surviving for the best every moment …fueled with oxygen’s free endowment …fenced from greed’s covetousness-detriment …fired by love, care and kindness sentiment… My will focuses on life enjoyment. Surviving with faith’s blest empowerment …working toward eternal investment …walking via spiritual enforcement …witnessing miraculous wonderment… My will wins over carnal allurement. Surviving to do granted assignment …tasked with valued life-building engagement …taught as a mentor of firm commitment …trained in pursuing worthy achievement… My will trusts sovereign predicament.
Woe unto my will that survives without GOD, for without HIM, I can do nothing*. John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me (JESUS CHRIST), and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
