A lady who had the King's ear
Believed she had nothing to fear
But without his heart
It all fell apart
'til she swung from the chandelier

Gosh, your poem brought up memories of "The War of the Roses" with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. They were hanging from a chandelier at the end. Divorce can be ugly. Great limerick, Rico!

Good one, Rico. She found a way to win his heart, apparently!

Hmmmm It would appear either the king liked monkeys or she was involved with Tarzan. Good one. God Bless, JB
