A Wilderness of Mirrors

Contest by Craig Cornish.

Crossing my bygone golden days tumbling in senile decay. Lost my well known vitality Youth bade by with dazzling sun rays. Looking slant on the front mirror Getting stunned with horrible horror : Face showed distorted wilderness- Confused ! Reflection in error ? Fled my natural beauty Couldn't recognise own identity - Is it wilderness of mirror ? Or, inevitable reality Once while as stepping in sixty, going through productivity Couldn't think myself senior Now feeling helpless at eighty. Reminiscing my vibrant youth, When life running more or less smooth. Hard to admit, my time is up ! Wilderness of mirror revealed the truth.
