The wind howls through my windowpane, I sit and listen once again. While watching tall tree bend their bough, Dark clouds roll by each threaten rain. Seasons of old have changed somehow, Different weather patterns now. Climate change is real it seems, Without a choice we must allow. Daily different weather schemes, Bush fires hot, next flooded streams. All unpredictable, unplanned, Across our globe many extremes. Wild winds obey natures command, When lightning strikes, flames then fanned. Also, I wonder what will be. Each day across my Southern land?
