Why Does It Seem This Way
Life's perceived inanity propels us ever forward
Never content in our volcanity we strive toward the summit of enlightenment
Failing to grasp the consequences of the mentality that drives us
Our quest to better humanity can lead us down a dark path
One that turns morality upside down
We trade truth for lies, good for evil, right for wrong; a sad reality
Urbanity wanes; I weep softly for it's inevitable demise
The brutality of it all
A sad realization that our grand mundanity is nothing but a ruse
Overwrought with profanity society clamours on
The insanity of it all
Yet knowing full well the fatality that awaits us
We abandon formality and embrace vitality believing that absolutely nothing is wrong
