Why do we

Recruicify the one
Who saved us
Who gave his life
As a free gift for all
Regardless of colour
Culture or creed
Regardless of where we've been
What we've done
Whom we've abused
Maimed
Killed
Often in the name of God
Sin is sin
Whether breaking the law
In little ways
Or destroying whole nations
By war or genocide

Why do we

Help to keep the poor poor
Make the rich richer
Seek selfish gain
By using the vulnerable 
Grow cold to ethics
Blind to the ugly reality
Of what is really going on

Indeed

Why do we.....
