Why Are You So Silent

Now I talk and you won't reply
Now you can't accuse me and I can't deny
Why?
What does your silence imply?
Open your eyes!
Open your eyes!
Why have you gone with the wind?
Why do you prefer to live with the breeze
Where will I get answers to these?

Why?
Has your smiles fade away
Why has our existence decayed
Wake up! Is this a play

Why?
Why do you leave-
Me alone on this hive
Why did you dive-
Into the cloud of imaginary water
Now, who will give shelter
To my world, it's began to falter

Now, who?
Why?
Do you leave me alone with tears?
Now who will clean my tears?
The flowers in the garden
Always call out for you
Why did you fade?
To live in the grave
Will you be back in decades?
Or will I meet you if I come to your pave?

Now who will cater for my smiles
Who will think of me while-
Am away in far away miles

Why did you leave me alone?
Why's the music lost it tone?
Why is this silence so?

A song strummed on lyre, soft, slow, intelligence glows; though curtain of rain clouds hide rainbow. I wish you pure love. For you still shared your time, stopping by with your warmth. Peace and abundant blessings.

I like this, White sage. Mystic calls it dramatic monologue. I think that is a quite fitting term.

This poem is well written and presents the viewpoint of a woman experiencing a flood of emotions while reviewing her life through the anger of a love lost. You call upon an army of emotions to come forth from their slumber and carry you through this ordeal. An outpouring of emotions that surges up from the heart and splashes against the page in grief and frustration. Emile

Sometimes life deals us things we don't understand at the time. However, eventually we come to realize there are valuable lessons to learn from them. Wonderful writing, Sage. Elaine
