Why

WHY?

I want to dance on the moon,
Eat fresh honey with a spoon,
Play a lively tune, 
And float across the sky in a multi-colored balloon.

I want to eat cake and ice-cream,
Paint a snow-capped mountain scene,
Slide down a sunbeam,
And kiss you in a dream.

I want to let my imagination fly
Up into a starlit sky
Way up high.
Why?

Because then I won’t cry.
