As we see on Soup, it is difficult in modern times to say anything without offending someone . . . . Aloha!

From Wikipedia: "It is estimated that in the 11th century Ashkenazi Jews composed 3 percent of the world's total Jewish population, while an estimate made in 1930 (near the population's peak) had them as 92 percent of the world's Jews". Seems like the race is still on . . . .

Therein lies the rub... In fact, Elie Wiesel used to get paid $17,000 a speech to speak of what he called 'man's inhumanity to man.' Ironic that Whoopi used the same words... I actually think that she meant 'color,' but used the unforgivable word, 'race.' (Jews aren't exactly a race, although Aryans are). ~ Just sayin' (or maybe offendin') ~ gw
