This form was not clear since its not popular, and you had the definition vs examples...You had some examples that were songs about wine and love, others were not; then you have some guy named John Phillips (1631-1706) who decided he would make rules that there are to be 7 syllables per line and etc...but those rules were not consistant historically with some of the examples I found:

So I used this definition of the Verse  - "Anacreontic verse is an Ancient Greek lyrical form, consisting of 20- to 30-line poems with three to five syllables per line." To keep it simple, "The poems revolved around themes of love, infatuation, revelry, festivals, and observations of everyday life."

With big blue eyes
the way you look
and look at me
makes me smile
when you talk
your voice comforts
the things you share
involves trust
friendship and love
they set me free
watching you care
for others
like family
your friendships
feeding the birds
caring for a deer
dogs and cats
a raccoon family
once even a skunk
the place we live
a sanctuary
for all creatures
all that breathe
for this I smile
you love me
I know this
I love you
for who you are

ahhh, sounds like a wonderful person. A person who does not like and enjoy animals is not much of a person in my opinion.
