Who Protects the Singular

Who Protects the Singular and the Few?
Acknowledged without reward.

The Predator took my talents,
My gifts stolen and used.
I am without rewards.

I never wanted them,
 The Agent, Some Union dues.

Who protects the singular or the few?
The masses need protection too.

Thank you for posting this poem. I can relate to the singular... and I love your poem for many reasons... the main one being, you ask questions. Important questions. That you have put questons out to the reader in your poem, makes me feel a little safer, protection invited. Thanks again for your poem.

I'm still searching for who protects the singular. It's a crazy world we live in!

A poem that made me think. This work deserves more responses than it's had thus far.
