Who Knows

Who knows
When you know, you know.
There is no doubt
whether the sky is blue
or gold
or red like my love for him,
when you know, you just know.
Never knowing what to do
forever in another space
constantly hoping for the better
never getting that at all
always looking for another way
out of this mess
not a care anymore
for it is worthless
Saw a bird realized flight
which everyone has to take
to reach something called "light"

Then there came a sound,
Said I was young, lacked wisdom.
For these things come with age
As there are many things the sand too doesn't know.
I see your immense beauty
your keen intelligence
and wisdom--
your gift of love
for your fellow man
and for life's journey...
Though sometimes
your journey of life
reeks of hardship,
strife and woe
I know
that somehow
you will find a way
to climb your way
through this searing pain,
the many obstacles
and challenges--
And I know
one day too
you will emerge
on the other side
an even stronger,
more vibrant,
more amazing you.
It is a poignant thought...
 that in this life
we often know more of a thing
  by its absence
   than by its presence;
   that we do not know,
    yes,
     truly know…
     love,
      in all
       its ins,
       its outs
        until life
       ends…
As you create a blazing path
 and offer all you are
  for all that is rejoicing
   how precious life is
    knowing nothing I see you
     living as you must
       raw and true
      volcanic heart awareness
      embracing and embraced
         by unknown
          the partner true.
