Who Is the Indian Giver

You gave us food and we took your land

It's not right to make promises grand

  We took all your stuff

  Till you said enough --

And gave General Custer his last stand

Yes, and we called it a massacre instead of a defeat. He was an arrogant fool who misread the warning signs and put his troops in a deathtrap. If he had survived, he should have been court-martialed and shot. Vainglory fool. Nice topic and a nice twist. Good job! Regards, Gerard.

Heard the Native Americans cut off Custer's ear as a symbol. Maybe they didn't want to hear more of his lies. Great entry for the contest -- similar to one by Joyce Johnson. Check it out, Diane. Best wishes, Carolyn

There have certainly been a few battles where the white man met his match. Little Big Horn being the primaral conflict. But typical man in a United States, even managed to fight amongst themselves. Terrific Limerick Diane, and good luck in the contest >> James :)
