Who Am I
Unless we clearly recognise
Who in truth we really are
We live in a world conceptual
Truth distant like yonder star
Fleeting is joy, lasting is pain
Our feeble form is doomed to die
World of transience holds no appeal
We know there’s more, so we sigh
To exit the matrix and be free
Cessation seems to be the way
Thoughts rested, identity disappears
We then see the truth, clear as day
To drop identity requires courage
It is after all, a leap into the unknown
Yet do not all paths require surrender
That we may come into our own
Fortunately we can begin as a game
Taking time out for quiet meditation
We can return to delusion in an instant
So why not choose attention oscillation
To get good at this game, we must practice
Just like any other sport we opt to pursue
So if we if choose to give silence a chance
In timeless time we become a persona new
Simply stated, silence speaks to us
We receive wisdom downloads from God
Bliss suffuses our form, nodes come alive
In childlike joy, our soul gives love a nod
The knowing we garner transcends mind
It is in truth a becoming as living light
We become the answer needing no translator
Seeing God face to face with spherical sight
