what we seek
is within
cave of heart

if we’re still
voids will fill
on their own

just know this
we are love
we are light

Enjoy your thoughts, some way over my head. Gen. 2:7 teaches, when received the breath of life from God, "Man became a living soul." Became not given. Jos 11:11 shows soul can be struck with sword, stop breathing and be destroyed. WE, you and I God said, are souls. I hold to his definition, world does not. Agree???

Incidentally, it would always serve us well to keep in focus that spirituality is an inquiry of ‘who am I’ without employing thought (we cannot use thought to transcend thought). How then? Silence. Stillness. Meditation. No preconceived knowing, no memory imagery, no conditioned belief. An agnostic but receptive to offered impulse from the universe. Then we can see without mirrors.

We may say, God alone is, hence the adage Tat Tvam Asi or That I Am. Cleaved from His essence, without diminishing Him, we are living light or Self, as He but yet to fully blossom. This is a singularity. To feel contrast, there’s a descent into duality. We here then forget who in truth we are. Ignorance. Recognition of Self, which we always are is the aim of spirituality. So it’s like waking up within the dream.

We are made in God’s image. But who are we? Not mind-body but soul. What is soul? Living love and light. How may we know this? By prayer, surrender, by dwelling in inner silence. Easy. But we choose not to be as such.
