White Lilies

Throw white lilies on the grave Watch the shadows on the stone Feel the tear upon my cheek In the crowd I cry alone All the days lived together Things I should have said Love taken as my right Now that love lies dead If the pages could be turned And the story begun anew I'd tell him of my heart And the white lilies that I grew........
