white cat

white cat,
Behind the illuminated glass,
Don’t ask yourself questions,
If my master disappeared,
Who would feed me? »
He has no imagination,
Is it the key to happiness?

PS, i try to learn portugese, so i don't bring my french poem, portugese sounds musical to my ears

O gato branco,
Atrás do vidro iluminado,
Não te faças perguntas,
« Se o meu mestre desaparecesse,
Quem me alimentaria? »
Ele não tem imaginação,
É a chave para a felicidade?

Dear Yaan, you are a linguist... learning and handling many languages. By the way, in your enthusiasm to learn languages, don't forget to feed your cat. :) I love cats, but am not allowed to keep them.

I am not into cats Yann, but that sure looks like something a cat would think, always thinking of themselves. A Masterful write my dear friend, Also so clever to be able to learn languages on top of English and French. Bravo !

- One can learn a lot about the cat's thoughts and opinions by understanding what the cat's sounds mean... as understanding portuguese :) - Have a wonderful weekend, Yann :) - hugs

Yes, I am sure the white cat was confused when it saw itself in the mirror. Awesome that you are learning another language. That will be three languages for you then. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

This made me smile yann. I started reading your usual French first but saw "gato" instead of "chat"; then got to the end and read your post script indicating that you are learning Portuguese. Saúde :)
