Whispers the Wild Water
The eagle soared beside the morning
Hearing river song rising
Whispers to the wild waters forming
Answered in misty echoes
Floating upon the rivers winding breath
Cascading in tumultuous cries
Over itself in the waterfalls descent
The whispering call spilled in crescendo
As the wild water tumbles
To return to gentle undulations
Winding over strong hands of stone
Bird song singing harmony
The whispers of the wild water roar
Now but the rivers sleepy stir of memories
Dreams calling in the night
